Brian Klock, owner of Mitchell’s Klock Werks, has been selected as the 23rd Anniversary Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America “Angel Rider.” Nominated directly by former NASCAR driver and NBC racing analyst Kyle Petty, Brian has been awarded this special honor for his significant contribution to the local Mitchell community and the motorcycle industry.
chronic or life-threatening illnesses. The Ride, one of the most popular and successful charity rides in the country, is led by Kyle Petty and features many other celebrity riders, including NFL great Herschel Walker.
Brian is looking forward to the camaraderie and adventure that comes along with a group ride. He will be riding a 2017 Indian Roadmaster with a full line-up of Indian factory accessories, and “of course, the Flare™ Windshield.” Brad Smith, of thefactorymatch.com, will be custom painting the bike to match a new matte red and white, Schuberth C-4 style helmet that Brian will debut on the ride.
“Anytime you ride in a group, it’s just awesome,” Brian said. “It’s like being in a wolf pack. You know if something happens, someone will be there to take care of you.”
Though Click invited Brian on the Kyle Petty Charity Ride in the past, he was never able to go along, something he still regrets to this day. “I’ve always wanted to make this happen,” Brian said. “Click loved this charity and group of riders.”

Every year, an Angel Rider is selected to participate in the Ride free of charge based on nominations received for an individual who is instrumental in their local community. The Angel Rider is funded by David Andreas, a long-time supporter and participant of the Ride, in recognition of someone who provided him with a bike to ride in a time of need.
This year’s ride runs from Portland, Oregon to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On May 17th, the group will be making an overnight stop in Mitchell, SD, home of Klock Werks and the World’s Only Corn Palace.
