(Mitchell, S.D.) Feb 28th, 2019 – Klock Werks UTV Flare™ Windshield for Textron Wildcat XX recently named by Powersports Business magazines as one of the “Nifty 50” award recipients.
Powersports Business, for the 20th consecutive year, has selected 50 aftermarket products and services that the editors believe will best boost dealership profitability through innovation in 2019 – the Powersports Business Nifty 50. The monthly publication, which provides market specific data to powersports dealers and those in the industry, selected the Klock Werks UTV Flare™ Windshield for Textron Wildcat XX as one of those 50, even with more entries submitted than ever before.
“For 20 years, Powersports Business magazine has started the year by encouraging aftermarket parts and accessories companies to submit their top products for consideration on the Nifty 50 list,” editor in chief Dave McMahon said. “Klock Werks made the list by extending its proven motorcycle windshield designs to the side-by-side segment, the fastest growing sector in powersports. An innovative product that adds to dealer profitability? That’s nifty to us.”
The UTV Flare™ Windshield for Textron Wildcat XX from Klock Werks uses their patented airmanagement technology that was originally born on the Bonneville Salt Flats. The Flare™
Windshield is designed to push air up and over the cab and around the edges of the UTV eliminating dust and debris from entering and swirling within the cab. The half-shield is made of polycarbonate and uses a patented thumb screw clamping system to attach to the cage of the UTV.
Dan Cheeseman, head of the Off-Road Division at Klock Werks, was excited to hear the recent news, “We are honored to receive this award! It is especially gratifying to receive this award
for a piece from our new and growing off-road parts line,” he said. “While reception of these new parts has been outstanding, it is great to get reassurance from an industry standard such as Powersports Business. It reaffirms we are on the right track and presenting innovative products to the UTV sector of the powersports industry.”
Winners of the award were announced in the February issue of Powersports Business that arrived at dealerships earlier this month. This is the third time Klock Werks has received this prestigious award. Other Klock Werks parts that have received this honor were the Flare™ Windshields for Honda Gold Wing and F6B, in 2014, and the NavBag, in 2013.
“We are honored to receive this award for the third time since we started entering our products,” said Brian Klock, President of Klock Werks. “While we don’t win every year, I feel it’s a service Powersports Business provides to continue to push us all forward. Innovation drives our industry and we are thankful to be selected this year for our Textron Wildcat XX design!”
